Outdoor Education: Dairy

The school has converted the original Abergowrie College dairy into an outdoor education centre. The centre caters for small groups (up to 40) for short term camping. The activities include: fishing, canoeing, white water rafting - all whilst enjoying the bush atmosphere.

The boys live under fairly good conditions, sleeping in their own swags under the stars or under one of our marquees.

Cooking facilities include barbeques, freezers, fridges, stoves, microwaves, cutlery and crockery (up to 50). Septic toilets as well as hot and cold showers are available. Its really 5 star camping - Abergowrie style!

We Give Thanks...

“St Teresa's College would like to acknowledge the Warrgamay People, the Traditional Owners of this Country, who freely lived and hunted here as recently as the 1940's. We acknowledge the hospitality of the Warrgamay People, the hospitality of this land, and the reciprocal relationship the College enjoys with their current generations."
